So you’d like to know a little more about me?
I am a wife to Dean, a Mamma to my beautiful little Noni bear and of course our fur baby, Ziggy. My life is full of joy. However, my heart holds a special place for my two heavenly babies. My little family and I have lived on the Central Coast, NSW since 2016.
If asked to describe myself, I would say I’m warm hearted, caring, kind, considerate and respectful. I love being with people and am enthusiastic and passionate in my approach to life.
I am a creative being and love doing arts and craft, swimming in the ocean, animals, cooking and all things low tox. I also have a slight obsession with Beyonce and Harry Potter!

My Journey to becoming a Doula
After my own birth with our Doula alongside us, I had the most transformative experience due to the presence, support and encouragement I received. Without a doubt if our Doula had not been there, things could have gone very different.
This life changing experience and becoming a Mamma, reset my thoughts about my own life path and I embarked on my studies to become a Birth and Postpartum Doula. Having experienced this invaluable support first hand, I recognise and understand the outcomes that Doula’s provide. I am passionate and excited to provide this same experience for other women that allow me into their birth space.
How you’ll feel
Supported, held, heard and informed.
FAQs
What is a Doula ?
A Doula is a companion that provides continuous one of one care as well as informational, emotional and physical support to the woman and their partner throughout pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. As your Doula, my job is to hold space for you, create a relationship of trust and respect, and help you walk away from your birth feeling confident, safe and supported.
What births do you support ?
I am supportive of any kind of birth in any kind of setting. Whether that’s a hospital birth, homebirth, induction of labour, caesarean birth or free birth. I am there for you no matter what you choose, every step of the way.
Will you come to my home and how long will you stay at my birth for?
As soon as you want me to be with you during your labour, I will be there. If anything, I prefer to come to your home whilst you are labouring. I will then continue to hospital (if you are having a hospital birth) and stay until the arrival of your baby. I will generally only stay for a few hours after, as I like help you have your first shower, get comfortable and wait until you’re all settled in before I leave you with your newest family member.
What happens if you can’t be there for my birth?
I will do my absolute best to get to your birth (whether that is in or out of the on call period), however sometimes unfortunate circumstances arise like illness or unplanned family commitments. Rest assured, if this does happen, I will always have a backup Doula arranged just in case. This is also another reason I only take on 1/2 mammas per month.
What if I change my mind about my birth during labour?
My job as your Doula is to be fully supportive and non judgmental when it comes to the decisions you make during your birth. Birth is unpredictable and frequently on the spot decisions need to be made! I will provide you with the information for you to make informed decisions and advocate for you when needed.
What will you bring?
When you invite me into your birth space, I will provide a number of tools to help set the atmosphere such as; fairy lights, electric candles, essential oils and diffuser, blue tooth speaker, affirmation cards and more. I also have pain relief options such as a TENS machine, The Birth Sling, birth comb, robozo and massage tools. You will have access to all of these things plus more.
